The Scope of Application of the Law of Positive and Negative Energy Summing to Zero

While exploring the origin of the universe and the balance of cosmic energy, especially the principles of natural law, the mechanism of nature, and the principle of justice in Tao, I discovered this law, namely, “the sum of positive and negative energy is zero.”

 

If there is a positive universe, there is a negative universe; if there is positive energy, there is negative energy; if there is a positive electron, there is a negative electron; if there are people, there are anti-people; if there are gods, there are demons; if there is heaven, there is hell, etc. This law indicates that what is given and what is gained are equal, or in other words, giving + gaining = zero.

 

This law is the balance mechanism of the universe, ensuring that the development of anything does not go to extremes. This balance mechanism is the natural law and also embodies the justice of Tao. Understanding and applying this law, we will know the mechanism of nature.

 

Now a question arises, since the sum of positive and negative energy is zero, then, is happiness + pain = zero? Is love + hate = zero? Is cruelty + kindness = zero? Is enjoyment + suffering = zero? Etc.

 

There is a very obvious fact that seems to prove that this law only applies to the category of energy and does not apply to other categories. This fact is that the Super Celestial Beings in the Celestial Islands Continent of the Elysium World can enjoy eternity without worries and pains, and they will not suffer or be punished; while many lives trapped in hell are “irretrievable” and have to endure eternal pain; from the perspective of a single life form, the law of the sum of positive and negative energy being zero is not established, and there is no formula of happiness + pain = zero.

 

This means that the law of the sum of positive and negative energy being zero applies to the macroscopic, not to the microscopic; it applies to the whole, not to the individual.

 

Is this really the case?

 

Let some life or lives enjoy a good life forever for no reason, let some life or lives suffer pain and torture forever for no reason, is this possible? If it is possible, where is the natural law? Where is the justice of the universe? If it is not possible, where is the principle? Is it necessary to go through suffering and torture to enjoy a good and happy life? Do you have to endure hardship before you can go to heaven?

 

What I know and understand is that the law of the sum of positive and negative energy being zero applies to all fields, both macroscopic and microscopic, both the whole and the individual. There is no unprovoked blessing to enjoy, and there is no unprovoked sin to suffer. If you want to enjoy the benefits of heaven forever, you must meet the standards of heaven for life. This standard mainly depends on the following three items.

 

1.         The quality of LIFE must meet the standard.

2.         Have enough merit, that is, capital.

3.         No worldly ties, no debt. 

To meet the above three standards, it is actually a very difficult and painful process. In this sense, happiness + pain = zero is established. Once the standard is met, you can enjoy eternal happiness, but the possibility of meeting the standard is very small. It is a miracle if one percent of humans meet the standard. If you do not meet the standard, you will inevitably suffer endless suffering and torture, reincarnation endlessly, there is no end in sight, because we will find that we are suffering from pain and torture, but we are enjoying short-term happiness and joy, this is like a person, every day go to work to make money, spend all the money you earn every day, you can’t save a penny in the bank of heaven, where is the money to enjoy a good life in heaven? Some people complain that the Greatest Creator is unfair, saying that the common people are suffering pain, enduring hardship, and bearing sins; why doesn’t the Greatest Creator relieve the suffering of the common people?

 

I asked, “Who among the common people is willing to heed the call of the Greatest Creator and walk the path of the Greatest Creator? Can you find one? While disregarding the call of the Greatest Creator and complaining about the perceived injustice of the Greatest Creator, can you really blame the Greatest Creator?”

 

Perhaps someone might ask, “How is it that the law of the sum of positive and negative energy becoming zero fails for those wealthy individuals who, without enduring much pain or torment, enjoy a life of luxury?”

 

The law has not failed. The perceived failure of the law is due to two reasons: one, you have not seen the pressures and trials they have endured; two, you have not seen their future. They have shouldered more risk and mental strain than the average person, experiencing psychological and spiritual torment. Therefore, they are entitled to enjoy material wealth, but their future is bleak. The wealthier a person is, the greater their responsibility for the destruction of nature, the more money, the greater the sin. The more material wealth a person possesses, the heavier their sin, and the more severe their future punishment. Therefore, one should never envy or admire the rich, but rather pity them.

 

In summary, the law of the sum of positive and negative energy applies across all domains.

Embracing Nature and Celebrations: A Harmonious Summer in Lifechanyuan Communities

 From early May to midsummer, the Canada Headquarters of Lifechanyuan  experienced its most beautiful season, with abundant rain and warm sunshine nurturing lush greenery and clear skies. Meanwhile, in the Thailand Second Home Community, on July 10th, we celebrated the Abbot's birthday with a festive celebration, sharing in singing, dancing, and cooking special offerings. Despite the rainy season, our vegetable gardens thrived, and we repaired the chicken coop, welcoming a new kitten into our harmonious community. On July 20th, during the Buddhist Three Treasures Festival, we visited the temple, brought garden offerings, and enjoyed a joyful outing to Hompanding Farm, filled with laughter and interaction with nature. Our daily lives are filled with beauty, love, and gratitude.

Paradise for Singles and Divorcees

The disintegration and disappearance  of marriage and family are inevitable trends in the advancement  of human civilization. The mental stress and emotional harm caused by marriage and family to each individual are countless and indescribable. Anyone who has ever been trapped in marriage and family knows the bitterness that is hard to express. Any praise, glorification, or flattery of marriage and family are deceitful lies.

When cars came along, even the most luxurious ox carts and horse carriages had to enter history museums.

When digital cameras appeared, even the most impressive Kodak cameras could only fade away from the historical stage.

With the birth of the internet and the emergence of AI, all traditional production relations and interpersonal relationships will become things of the past, including marriage, family, and kinship.

It won’t be long before people are surprised to  realize that marriage and family are essentially no different from the outdated practices of foot binding for women and long braids for men—they are both products of their time and symbols of ignorance.

People will increasingly  choose not to marry, and divorce rates will rise. This is the inevitable trend of historical development. Human emotions cannot sustain these institutions, and neither can coercion or force stop their decline. The fervent cries of feudal remnants to uphold them are futile, and even the hypocrites' praises and glorifications of marriage and family are merely the last few sighs and groans.

The current issue is, if you choose not to marry, how do you meet your physiological and emotional needs? If you divorce, how do you plan to live afterward?

We need to consider several practical issues: one is physiological needs, another is emotional needs, the third is the need for security, the fourth is who will help you when you are helpless, and the fifth is the issue of care in old age and at death.

The series of challenges each person will face, and the broader issue of humanity transitioning to a more advanced civilization have been planned by Lifechanyuan over twenty years ago and put into practice sixteen years ago. Practice has proven that Lifechanyuan has found a paradise-like way of living for singles and divorcees—this way is the Second Home.

As a guide for life and LIFE, I appeal to all singles and divorcees: your first priority right now should not be making money, going to school, finding a job, or looking for a savior, but rather seeking the Second Home  and start living in it as soon as possible before AI fully takes over human management, production, and life. The sooner, the better.

This is the grace of the Greatest Creator to humanity, the result of the shared expectations and efforts of gods, buddhas, celestials, and saints. Cherish it! Cherish this rare opportunity of millennia.

Explore the Script of Life

Is life dominated by fate?

How does fate come into being?

Is everything in life prearranged?

If it is, then who arranged and directs it and how can we still have free will?

If there is free will, does it conflict with fate?

If there is no free will, then does the causality law of "You reap what you sow" exist, or does it not?

Is it true that every word and every act of everyone is prearranged?

If so, then are we not biological robots?

Is everything accidental or inevitable?

Who carries out punishments, rewards, and so on?

 

It is an extremely complex and enormous system and it is impossible to reveal the whole system clearly. I can only draw a rough outline, and you the reader must verify it for yourself.

 

Eighteen plots cannot be controlled by people in their own lives but have to be resigned to destiny. For example, their own parents cannot be chosen, arranged, or controlled by them. In fact, a lot of things in life cannot be either. Not only are the sizes of our eyes uncontrollable, but we cannot even arrange a single hair by ourselves. In the face of such vast complexities, we have to resign ourselves to destiny.

 

If we cannot change things, then what can we do?

 

Everything in the universe has its trajectory, all of which are run according to a well-arranged overall trajectory and we are no exception. That is to say, we also have our trajectories. These trajectories determine the directions of people's lives, whether they will be officials or commoners, poor or rich, or male or female, and be subject to fortune or misfortune; everything and everyone have been determined by their trajectory. Facing our trajectory, we are powerless.

 

Who is writing your life script and arranging your trajectory of LIFE? You are!

Who is directing it? It is procedure.

 

Everything in this life is established by the thoughts and actions of your previous life; this is fate. It is impossible to change the fate of your life because it has already been written. All of your efforts in this life only work for your next life. It can be said that your past determines your present and your present determines your future. Since everything has already been arranged and planned out and the story and plot of your life has already been set, then how do we reflect on man’s subjective initiative? What good are an individual’s efforts? If even what we say and do have been determined in advance, then why should we make any efforts?

 

Individual efforts are reflected in one’s mind and how perfect a role they play. Our inner activities are not arranged by our script. Our free will is reflected in our mind and whether our specific role is performed perfectly or not. Such as in a stage play, the script has been arranged by a writer in advance, the director selects performers according to each performer’s appearance, character, acting skill, and so on. The performers must act strictly according to the script and plot and the director’s requirement. If done well, the director will be pleased and the actors will receive more pay and have more chances to perform in future plays. If done poorly, the director will not be pleased and their opportunity for future castings will diminish. The quality of their performance depends on them. This is individual effort.

 

Our inner activities are not arranged, nor are they destined. They rely completely on the free will and effort of the individual. It is entirely up to them to decide whether they want to have good or evil thoughts.

 

Our inner activity is our thinking activity. Thinking activity is like a wave that spreads throughout the universe; that is, when the mind moves, its inner activity expands out to the universe and tells the universe what it is doing, and very loudly. Regarding this, we are unable to view or receive it, but gods know it. In other words, everyone’s inner activities can be learned instantly by the universe and recorded in the procedure of Tao. The procedure of Tao automatically arranges the future fate and trajectory of everyone’s LIFE based on their inner activities. Karma, karma, karma!

 

Then who rewards and punishes and who executes the mechanisms of rewarding and punishing?

 

Rewarding and punishing are determined by the procedure of Tao, but it is only the judge. The executor is neither the procedure of Tao nor the judge, but a factor of the boundless universe; a god, or man, a dog, an ant, a storm, or an event. It is like a judge who sentences someone to death but never executes anyone personally; that is always left for a series of other people.

 

The script of this life has been set long ago but the script of the next life is always changing. People’s thoughts and actions in this life identify their future LIFE trajectories. If someone is destined to leave for the Celestial Islands Continent but becomes seized by evil and does not play their current role well, then their trajectory of LIFE to the Celestial Islands Continent will change. Their revised trajectory may devolve toward the Ten-thousand Year World, the Thousand- year world, back to the mortal world, or even to the animal world or to hell depending on the severity of what they do.

 

As Lifechanyuan’s guide, I sigh with deep emotion during my directing the scripts of Chanyuan Celestials. For instance, I planned to have a certain individual eat a fairy peach which had been determined by her trajectory of LIFE, however she failed to play her role as a Chanyuan celestial well in her course. I asked her to clean a toilet, but she failed to clean it thoroughly, so I knew that she was still unable to eat the fairy peach, but only wild peaches. In this way, both her fate and her trajectory of LIFE were changed.

 

It is a strict law that absolutely beautiful things can only be enjoyed by absolutely beautiful LIVES. If we do not reach an absolutely beautiful state, then absolutely beautiful results will never appear.

 

When we enjoy absolutely beautiful things but our personal quality declines, then those absolutely beautiful things automatically disappear. This is not only the law and the script plot, but also the ever-changing living script.

 

Past scripts are dead, future ones are alive, and living ones are always changing according to everyone’s inner activities and how well or poorly they perform.

 

The impartiality of Tao is reflected in, “Tao gives to every LIFE according to its desires”. If you desire blessings in this life, Tao will bestow them upon you, but fewer will remain for your next life. If you want to become a wolf, it will make you one in your next script; if you want to become a celestial being, it will make you one. Tao will surely satisfy you and help you to achieve your goal, whatever you want to be, but it must be understood that the fulfillment of Tao is not executed immediately. It is arranged in the script, it takes a process, and it takes time. You cannot expect an airplane to come the moment you ask for it; you need to be patient. It is crucial to remember that as your plane is coming, your needs can not change. Once there is a change, Tao has to follow your needs. If you want coffee, but then decide that you would prefer tea, Tao will immediately prepare tea for you. If the tea has not yet arrived and you decide that you would prefer Coca-Cola, Tao will prepare Coca-Cola for you right away. When you change again, Tao will change again. In short, it will always satisfy you.

 

Now, here is a core consideration: if you want a luxury car worth a million dollars, Tao will check your bank account; your merits and virtues. If they are insufficient and your bank deposits are not enough, then that million dollar limousine will not be offered to you. Even if you need a needle, you have to check your bank deposits. As long as you have enough merits and virtues, enough bank deposits for what you want, Tao will meet your requirements and demands, or help you to achieve your goal.

 

When a person runs out of bank deposits or when their merits and virtues are exhausted and they have no remaining blessings, then they will soon collapse, fail, lose everything, go to prison, or end this life. Therefore, we need to give benefits, accumulate merits and virtues, and cherish good fortune during our lifetimes so that our blessings will last for our entire lives; even into our future lives.

 

The universe is a huge script with countless subscripts within it, and all the small ones serve the huge one; no small script can exceed a larger one. The Milky way galaxy is a huge script, the solar system is a medium-size one, earth is a smaller one, every country is a smaller one still, every organization is a much smaller one, and so on. Strings within quarks within atomic particles within molecules have the smallest scripts. Adding the nonmaterial world, twenty parallel worlds and the 36-dimensional space, it is unimaginable and inexplicable for us to know how complex and how huge the master script is.

 

The above is just a tiny bit of my superficial view based on man’s bewilderment for your reference. To know more, you will need to work on statistics, analysis, induction, summing up from a large number of examples of human activities, both ancient and modern, at home and abroad. It will take a lot of effort for you to figure it out.

Strategic Life

Using the best building plan, employing the most advanced machinery, mobilizing the best construction workers, and applying the highest quality materials, such as steel and concrete tiles to build a skyscraper on sand, what will happen? The result will be a crushing failure. Why? Because there was a strategic error - you can not build a high-rise building on sand, and even if you could and did, a single breeze would collapse it.

If it is strategically wrong; any tactical success is equal to zero. As in the example above, the building plan, the advanced machinery, the excellent construction workers, the high quality materials and other tactical successes will ultimately have zero value because of the strategic mistake.

Strategies are overall planning and designs. Tactics are specific measures to achieve them. If the strategy is wrong, then even the best tactics are ultimately hopeless efforts.

Sun Tzu’s, “The art of war” includes strategies and tactics; Life also includes both. The so-called strategic Life must grasp and operate Life from the macro perspective, or Life must first have the right ideal with the right directions and goals, otherwise no matter how diligent you are, how hard you try in your lifetime, you will end up fruitless.

I once drilled a well in a remote village in the Binga area of Matabeleland in the North Province of Zimbabwe. First, I mobilized all the villagers and built nearly 10 kilometres of road and we cut down the trees that blocked the vehicles along both sides of the road, then trucks loaded with the drill and other materials and workers entered the construction site in a formidable array. Hundreds of villagers cheered like thunder and supported us with great enthusiasm. After two days of drilling down to a depth of 90 meters, not a single drop of water had been found. The drilling failed. After having taken so much labour and having invested so much money, the result in the end was zero. Why was that? The reason lies not in tactics, but in strategy. In other words, the drilling point designated by the geologic and hydrographic staff was dry. In a spot with no water, no matter how many human and financial resources you invest, or how excellent the drilling experts you have mobilized are, you will never drill out water.

While taking a course in marketing, an American professor told us the story of an American shoe factory that wanted to set up a branch in Africa, so they sent two market researchers to Africa to make a survey of the shoe market. One researcher came back and reported pessimistically that there was no market for shoes in Africa because African people did not wear shoes. Another researcher came back and reported optimistically that a huge market for shoes existed in Africa because none of the African people were wearing shoes. In this situation, what should the American shoe factory have done? This leads to the strategic issue. If the strategy is correct, then there will eventually be huge profits, but if the strategy is wrong, it will drag the shoe factory down.

 

Most African women do not wear socks and if someone were to import a container of socks to sell in Africa, he or she would be making a strategic mistake.

 

Recently, I found a pinch of black slags on the white floor tiles in my bathroom. The situation remained the same the next day, even though the gardener cleaned it every day. Today, I bent down and took a closer look. It turned out that dozens of tiny ants were making nests along the edge of the floor tiles against the wall. I felt very sad about this because those ants had made a strategic mistake. The bathroom is very clean and having a food source would be a big problem. Would it not have been better if the nest had been built in the lawn or under the tree roots in the garden?

 

It might be a good idea to build a gem processing factory in Siberia, Russia, but building a soy sauce factory would be a strategic mistake.

 

Now let us come back to the strategic issues of Life.

 

· The first strategic issue of Life is to give play to your strengths and to do the things that you want to do. 

 

If a profession is not right for you or if it does not make you feel comfortable, then do not force yourself to do it. You would be better off staying idle than forcing yourself to do it because this is a strategic issue. Once you make a strategic mistake, your whole life will be trapped into building castles on sand.

 

Had the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mother Teresa not helped the helpless and lonely people, but rather studied radioactive elements like Marie Curie, she might not have accomplished anything at all. Likewise, if Chen Jingrun who took the math crown pearl by solving the Goldbach Conjecture had been sent to be the manage the marketing Department of an HR firm, it could have ended up in a complete mess.

 

If a person is tone-deaf, but wants to learn music or wants to be a singer, then they would be making a strategic mistake of Life.

I have a distant uncle. He became an apprentice to a carpenter at an early age. Three years later, he could not even make a chair without help from his master. That is to say, my distant uncle had made a strategic mistake of Life. He was not born with the material to be a carpenter.

 

 · The second strategic issue of Life is to comply with time

 

 

Sowing in spring harvesting season in autumn is correct. If you want to act at times inverse of nature, you will be punished by the Tao of heaven, "Those who suit their actions to the times are wise."

Yiwu people of Zhejiang Province, China are called the Jews of China because they have a shrewd business acumen, however during the Cultural Revolution, they were often criticized as models of walking on the capitalist road, so their shrewd ability could not be played out.

 

I knew a very talented man who remains in prison after more than ten years because he was involved in a democracy movement. This was not a bad thing and it was totally above-board, so why is he in prison? Because what he did was ill timed. In other words,  he wanted to pick and eat his watermelon before it was ripe and he made a strategic mistake.

 

· The third strategic issue of Life is to always place yourself in the right position and not to "overstep".

 

If it is your duty, you make sure to be conscientious and earnest to do it well and never to try to shirk your responsibility, but if it is not within the scope of your duties, keep your mouth shut, do not gossip, and pay no attention, even if the sky falls. What responsibilities do you have as to whether the country rises or falls? You have a responsibility to be a good citizen. According to the teachings of Jesus Christ, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”　

 

I have several colleagues who often criticize the decisions of the leadership as well as the work and behaviour of other colleagues. Ultimately, they were a nuisance and could not play out their strengths, and so ended up  complaining but unfulfilled.

An assistant General Manager was very talented and could have had broad future prospects, but because he was too critical of the decisions of the General Manager, he was soon dismissed. That is to say, a person, no matter how capable they are, must be sure to place themselves in the right position. Every man should confine himself to his own duties,otherwise, it is "overstepping".

 

· What is the biggest strategic issue in Life?

 

Jesus tells us clearly, “For what a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world,and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”That is to say, the greatest strategic issue of Life is the issue of the soul.

 

From novels, history, and reality, we learn that many people have lost their souls for money and wealth, many have forfeited their souls for power, and many have lost their souls for fame and lust. These are all strategic mistakes of Life. Similarly, many people have forfeited their souls for their families, their ethnic groups, their religious or political parties, or for their countries. These people have also made strategic mistakes of Life.

 

Everything is but a game. Only the soul is real. The issue of the soul should always be kept in first place because everything revolves around it. In this way, "Once the key link is grasped, everything else falls into place.” Now, everything is clear and everything else in Life is to play the game. You have developed a mind which does not abide in form, sound,smell,taste,touch and dharma. And the Tathagata comes.”

That is the Life strategy of great wisdom and intelligence.

The Meaning and Level of Freedom

Like an eagle soaring freely in the high and empty blue sky

Like a steed galloping across the endless grasslands

Free to sway freely and bloom with neither boundaries nor fetters

Travel through the vastness of time and space at will

The pursuit of freedom comprises the unremitting efforts and the ultimate pursuits of all beings in the universe.

"Live Free or Die" was the cry for freedom pursued by the American statesman, Patrick Henry in his speech to the Virginia Parliament in order to gain independence from British rule in North America nearly a quarter millenium ago. The original meaning of the sentence from France was "Set me free or kill me".

"Life is precious, but love is more expensive, yet if it is for freedom, then both can be discarded". This is from the Hungarian poet, Petofi Sandor’s "Freedom and Love", from his “A Song of Liberty”, 180 years ago in order to get rid of the slavery of the Austrian Empire.

Freedom, you are the most beautiful flower in the forest, the eagle that spreads its wings high, the rushing river that flows without restraint, the boundless blue sea and waves, and the heaven of bliss; in your arms, there is neither fear nor worry, but only security for prevention, and there are no fetters, only the flirtatious splendor of Tathagata's nature.

Freedom is the most holy and most desirable, the most charming and fascinating, the sexiest and most inspiring, and the most solemn and dignified.

What is freedom?

Freedom is to do as you please without breaking the rules.

Freedom is to fully bloom the nature of Tathagata.

Freedom is to do what you want without interfering with others in society and without harming nature.

Freedom is to release the breath of love without interference or obstruction along the way.

Freedom is to gallop freely in the boundless time and space without shackles, constraints, or fetters.

Freedom is a the Greatest Creator’s gift of a natural right to life.

In a free life, there is no trouble, pain, anxiety, or sorrow, let alone any fears, anxieties, precautions, or worries. Within a free life are only happiness, joy, and comfort, and only carefree, elegant, wonderful, and infinite relaxation.

There are three levels of freedom:

The First level:

Better to barter empty fame

For the pleasures of good wine and sweet song 

In a straw cloak, I spend my life in mist and rain

In the dreamy shades of apricot flowers

In the spring that seems boundless

Singing and playing the flute till dawn

The Second level:

I see a thousand hills crimsoned through

By their serried woods deep-dyed 

And a hundred barges vying

Over crystal blue waters

Eagles cleave the air

Fish glide through the deep blue water

Under freezing skies, a million creatures contend in freedom

The Third level:

Jumping out of the three realms,

Not in the five elements,

Freely travel around the whole Earth.

How to achieve the three levels of freedom?

Being above the common and free from vulgarity, we can reach the first level of freedom where we can enjoy the wonderful movement given by nature in tranquility.

Making the world peaceful and warm, we can reach the second level of freedom where everyone can be Yao and Shun, outside the pavilion, along the ancient road, the grass is green. Wherever you go, it is indescribable, and you are high from mountains and rivers.

Listening to the teachings of gods, Buddhas, immortals, and saints, and walking the way of the Greatest Creator, you can achieve the third level of freedom, where you can raise a handful of sand and transform it into thousands of green trees, gallop freely in the universe, and absorb infinite beauty.

Long live freedom! Let us sway in the youthful time, play to the youthful music, walk out of the kingdom of necessity, and move toward the kingdom of freedom. I know the road to freedom, come with me, hold my hand as we run to the free hills to sing and dance, to enjoy the beautiful mountains and rivers, and to enjoy the endless, most wonderful time of life and of LIFE.

Knowledge Is Not Power

Knowledge is a combination of the experience and cognition accumulated by our social and productive practical activities. One can possess a wealth of knowledge, which means that they possess the “foundation” to gain power, but no matter how much knowledge they have, it does not mean that they will ever have power. It is like a library which has abundant knowledge but no power. From the point of storing knowledge, a person’s brain is only like a library.  

“Knowledge is power”, is from “Meditation”, written by the seventeenth century British philosopher, Francis Bacon，which teachers delight in using to arouse students’ learning interest at school. As a result, students blindly believe that as long as they learn their lessons well which are set by schools, and as long as they grasp that knowledge, they will have the power to achieve their own pursuits and ideals after they graduate.  

Knowledge comes mainly from our sense organs. However, in the view of the Greek Philosopher Protagoras, “Human is the measure of everything”. This was refuted by Francis Bacon who wrote that “It is a great mistake to conclude that our limited sense organs measure all things”. In other words, it is wrong to judge and measure all things and all forms from the limited knowledge that our sense organs can provide.  

Consider a scenario in which a sexy young girl with a middle school diploma is standing next to a more mature, older lady with a Doctorate degree and both are in front of an interviewer. Which one is more likely to arouse the man’s rich imagination, alter his mood, and motivate his intense vitality? If it is the young girl, that is because knowledge is not true power since even beauty can have more power.  

It is reckless and dangerous to believe that “Knowledge is power”. Not only is it a cognitive misconception, but also a thinking one. For example, to accept that “When a son is grown he takes a wife, and when a girl is mature she finds a husband” as a life knowledge is bound to bring anguish and suffering throughout their whole lives. This knowledge has lead people to make such common mistakes for thousands of years, but which accomplish no good. 

Some more are:

“There are three forms of unfilial conduct but the worst is to have no descendants.”

“Filial piety is the most important of all virtues.”

“Lewdness is the worst of all sins.”

“He who does not endure hardship cannot stand up to others.” 

Another example is how education and guidance are passed from parents to their children. Can a parent’s knowledge conduct and educate their children with both a full range of healthy spirits, minds, and bodies, as well as the ability to lead their own independent lives? Most fall very short. 

When great changes take place in objective knowledge but we stubbornly insist on applying our traditional knowledge, we will certainly be rebuffed. Look at various religious dogmas and concepts. As they feel a loss of power, they become reactionary, resist social development, and impede natural human liberation.  

In fact, prejudices and fallacy are knowledge. What are the benefits of such knowledge? None! 

Our most powerful intellectual force is the power of flexible and tactful thinking. 

I believe firmly that Albert Einstein’s power came not from his knowledge, but from his thinking; “How would I perceive the universe if I were riding on a beam of light?”. Those who read more and get more diplomas and more experience but form rigid ways of thinking have rarely been found to wield much power.

Lasting power comes from neither knowledge nor from powerful economic strength and national defense forces, but from sincerity, kindness, virtue, love, faith, and honesty.

Sincere deeds have power, kind behavior has power, things of virtue have power, love is a powerful force, honest quality has power, people who keep their words and their faith have power. 

Conclusion: knowledge must be learned and accumulated, but knowledge has limitation, danger, and can be reactionary. Never believe blindly that having knowledge is synonymous with having power.

Rather than spending your precious time on chasing knowledge, you would be well advised to concentrate your efforts on sincerity, kindness, virtue, love, faith, and honesty, for those are the people who will enjoy lasting power. Meanwhile, take pains to develop your way of thinking by never spending time and effort reciting your former knowledge or stubbornly judging and adapting to a changing, living reality with dead, prejudicial knowledge.

Love is A State of Being

From ancient times, “I love you” has been a beautiful song which has been unchanged throughout the ages. People become fascinated, infatuated, and enjoyed crazy bliss when hearing, “I love you”. Today, I finally know that “I love you” is a hallucination, the unpredictable clouds, a colorful bubble, and an anesthetic. 

Love is a state, like the constantly shining sun, the blooming peony, the roaring river, and the bright stars twinkling in the night sky with all their luster. 

Love has no specific target, it is wordless, but if there are specific targets, it is not love. The sun shines down constantly on everything, but if there is a target, it is not the sun, but a searchlight, a torch, or a spotlight. Love is like the shining sun and the blooming flowers. It is a state. Neither the sun nor the flowers ever say “I love you”. No matter whether anyone is watching and no matter whether the bees and butterflies come to gather nectar, the flowers always bloom on time. 

Love always brings warmth, auspiciousness, harmony, goodness, happiness, and positive energy, and is infinitely fascinating to all living beings. Love never shows coldness, madness, ugliness, worry, suffering, negative energy, or desperation. 

Love cannot hurt anyone. If love leads to pain, grief, suffering, hatred, disappointment, or desperation, it cannot be real love. 

Love can only be felt by love. It cannot be demanded or taken by force, nor by money, status, fame, or beauty. Love is totally free, it is priceless, needs nothing in return, and is unconditional, with neither responsibilities, obligations, nor other requirements. Love treats everyone the same: beggars and billionaires, commoners and royalty. Love has no morals. Love has no system of values. Love lives in truth, kindness, beauty, and right, as well as in falseness, evil, ugliness, and wrong. 

The differences in the levels of love between different living beings are in the contents of love’s energy. The more love a living being has, the higher its level is; the less love it has, the lower its level is. This is the same as the differences of kerosene lamps, electric lamps, and the sun. They are shining different lights. The kerosene lamp can only illuminate one room in a house and the electric lamp can illuminate a yard, but the sun can illuminate a much larger area. 

The light of the Buddha can spread everywhere, but the light of human beings can only spread in limited regions. This is the difference between Buddhas and people. 

So, we understand that those who love everything and live for the benefit of all living beings are Buddhas, those who only love and think about themselves are devils, those who love and live for only one person or several people are animals, and those who only love and live for a group of people are human beings. 

According to this, we know that those who selfishly love themselves are the offsprings of devils, those who only love one person or thing, such as within monogamous marriage, are the lowest level of animals, those who love their families are the lowest level of human beings, and those who love their own nations, religions, organizations, and political parties are human beings, but those who live for the benefit of all living beings regardless of their own interests are more than human beings, they are Bodhisattvas, Angels, and Buddhas.

Human beings are not worthy of speaking the word, “love”. Love is the patent of Bodhisattvas, Angels, and Buddhas. Love is profaned when one person says “I love you” to another. 

Love is a nonmaterial existence. Only those who have love for themselves can feel love. You will never feel love if you do not have love within yourself. Only if you have eyes can you see the eyes of other LIVES.Only if you are not color-blind, can you see how colorful the world is.

Those people with the greatest love will become Super Celestial Beings. The greatest love is that you, yourself, completely become love. 

The Greatest Creator is love. Only by making ourselves become love can we enter the secret garden of the Greatest Creator, the Celestial Island Continent of the Elysium World.
